How to request deletion

Email info@silvergridtech.com from the Google email address used for Video Party, with the subject Video Party account deletion. State that you want your Video Party account and associated data deleted. If you no longer have access to that email, contact us for help verifying ownership. Never send your password or authentication codes.

We verify ownership, explain any information we must retain, and confirm when the request is complete. We handle requests within the time periods required by applicable law. Emailing a request does not immediately erase data; it starts the verification and deletion process.

What is deleted

Deletion covers your Video Party authentication record, cloud video copies and thumbnails, synchronized library and folder metadata, favorites and playback progress, device and pairing records, storage access records, and Hidden password verifiers associated with your account. Cloud recovery copies expire under the provider’s configured retention. We may retain limited records only where necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, or disputes, and will explain applicable exceptions when responding.

What remains on your devices

Your Google account and original video files are not deleted. Local app data on your Mac or TV is not remotely erased. Sign out on connected devices and remove local app data if you also want those local records removed. Removing a local listing never deletes an original video file.

Delete a cloud copy without deleting your account

In the Mac app, open My cloud library and choose Remove cloud copy for the video. Your original video and account remain available. You may also email info@silvergridtech.com to request deletion of specific account information while keeping the account; we will explain if that information is needed to provide a feature.
